This heats slowly, and doesn't seem to get very hot, until you put it next to your skin. The fabric is very soft, and heats 360 around for full coverage

The ability to velcro this around the waist is really helpful for low back pain, stomach pains, menstrual cramps etc. You could probably wear it cross body and treat shoulder pain.

I like this heating pad because it's easy to use and quick to heat up. It wraps around so you don't have to constantly move it. Just be careful not to fall asleep with it on and make sure you aren't applying it directly to your skin... just common sense stuff. Worked well, would be a thoughtful gift for someone who likes using heat therapy for pain in this area.

I know this is designed to go around the waist or the back, but I have been using anywhere on my body that has pain or needs a little bit of heat love. It is pretty large, 50 by 12, and very flexible so it an go around your shoulders, around your waist, around your thigh or calf and you can actually just put it flat on the bed and lay on it so it heats your spine. It beats up quickly and has a controller that offers 9 heat levels and 4 timer settings. Glad that it automatically shuts off because I got so cozy and relaxed so much, I fell asleep. The material is soft and velvety and feels nice against my skin. I thinks this is great for the !money.

This is the most thoughtful and life-friendly design for a heating pad that I've ever used. I can fasten it over my shoulders like a cape or around my waist and go about my work without worrying about it repositioning itself or falling off. The material itself is extra soft, and the velcro doesn't snag on anything it's not supposed to. The cord is the perfect length for wearing it at my desk chair, and it heats up reliably fast.
