Great buy, it was one of the more expensive mango cutters but it really does the job. Very easy clean up. Most of the other ones were just the cutting tool, this one has a base that is the holder of the fruit (keeps it from rolling around. Plus the base has side edges that allow you to push the mango down the side and separate the skin. Big help makes it fast.

I love mangoes, but I don’t buy them very often because it’s so messy to handle. I usually buy frozen mango chunks instead. But now that I’ve tried This mango slicer it works great and I love having fresh mango to eat. It’s 80% less messy and easy to use. I would recommend it to anyone who likes to eat fresh mango.

Just gotta say best ever mango slicer. Just center the pit stem at the top and perfect every time.I don’t write reviews but this product really deserves it!!

I LOVE mangos but hate cutting them! So naturally I figured this wouldn't work out in my favor. I am happy to report it does work and it works on larger mangos. The base is plastic so it has some give. If you use a little effort the large mangos slide gently in without damage to mango or device. The base does work as a scrapper very well. I cant stand to waste any amount of a nice mango so I go back with a knife and get excess from the cored part. Easiest mango cutting ever, cut like butter, actually easier than an apple corer.My only complaint(deduction of 1 star)is its shipped in a bag, and as mentioned above the base is a thinner plastic. So the base of my item was cracked at the bottom. I can send it back but what a hassle to drop it off at Khols and wait for a refund to order a new one.

I’m not usually one for single use kitchen gadgets as our kitchen is very small but this one is worth every penny. Ordered it after I lost a battle with a sweaty mango and had to go to the ER to get glued up the day before leaving for a lake vacation (see: no swimming with a fresh cut on my finger).I really only use it for slicing the cheeks, the scoop thingy to skin it just tears the mango flesh. The slice is surprisingly easy, sometimes you’ll need to adjust to get around the pit but same with a knife.In short, I’m happy with this and wish I had gotten it sooner!

I don't eat mangos often but when I do get them in sale I buy a bunch at a time and cut them up and freeze them for a smoothie. This is a game changer. No wasted fruit. No trying to get around the pit and easy to use.

I’ve been craving mangoes throughout my pregnancy. My husband hated cutting mangoes for me but begrudgingly did it. This product saved my marriage.

I eat a lot of mangos so this seemed to be a clean way to separate the pulp from the stone/pit. When everything is lined up perfect it does a decent job of getting most of the pulp away from the stone. Lining it up to exactly slice around the stone is a challenge so frequently you end up cutting some of the stone. This results in having to cut it away with a knife (not a big deal since it is usually a small piece). However the small teeth on the tool frequently bend over so I use a small pair of pliers to pull them back straight. Any pulp left on the stone is either trimmed or eaten off the stone. I never use the peeler function so once I separate the pulp from the stone, I cross hatch each side (making squares) and then cut it into strips. to eat, bend the strips and the squares pop up for easy eating. Even with it's faults, I think it is better than trying to hold on to the slippery mango to cut it with a knife.
