Excellent file set with all the tools I need for the detailed work I do. Work well on wood - haven't tried them on metals. Nice case with good organization sleeve in side. Great value with both rough and fine surfaces to achieve the desired outcome.

Files come in a good case for protection and are comfortable to use. Case could be a little bigger for ease of use, packing and unpacking.Very nice product.

This set has it all. I use this to finish my 3D prints. This set is extremely versatile and has the different sizes and shapes to make your prints shine. Comes with a pair of gloves and brushes to keep things clean. Handles are fit in the hands and easy to hold. Has a case to keep your tools in order.

The media could not be loaded. Update: The owner of Topec reached out to me on his own accord. He wanted to make things right and make sure my set of escapement files was not rusted. Topec shipped me a new set of files. As seen in my last video, they are free from rust or marks of any kind. I've reflected this new set in my rating.I want to like these escapement files. The small ones will be very useful for jewelry making. The larger, flat file seems to have some discoloration on it which I can only assume is rust. The larger triangular file shares a discoloration mark. I'm not sure what to make of these. The rest of the files are the quality you'll get for the price and will get the job done; good for a beginner jeweler like myself. The kit comes with a stiff brass brush for cleaning the files and four circular pieces of 240 grit sandpaper. I'm not sure the gloves will be useful — the files will rip them to shreds in a moment — but I'm sure I'll find a use for them. The gloves fit a woman's hand tightly, so those with larger hands might not be able to get them on. Overall, this kit has everything I want, but one thing I don't want: rust. With so many similar kits being sold, I can't say I'd recommend this one, but all the kits are probably coming out of the same two factories in China. I'll give this kit three stars, but would have increased it to four had my files not been rusty. May your luck be better than mine.
