JWGJW Pex Cinch Clamp Fastening Tool from 3/8" to 1",Pex Cinch Crimping Tool Crimper for Stainless Steel Clamps (001)

Just switched one of my rental units to PEX because it is more forgiving if it freezes which it did last week for the second time in 5 years and all of the CPVC split again. I had never used PEX before but decided to give it a try. NO glue, NO waiting, NO flames, WOW is all I can say. So fast and so easy. This crimper is for the stainless steel rings as they are fairly easily removable and the fitting can be reused. Why use copper fittings? This crimper can do all the common sizes from 3/8 to 1" but we only used 1/2". It is rugged feeling, easy to use and so fast. It ratchets closed and open meaning you cannot release a crimp until it is all the way closed so no mistakes. All we did worked great and didn't leak. Probably only 10 fittings as it was PEX and you can avoid many fittings simply by bending the PEX to where it needs to go. My partner, a plumber by trade (copper pipe lover) was also impressed and thinks he will start using this in his business.

the pliers are great...however the rings that come with it. I would not recomend....the 1/2" all failed all just slipped off. I had to redo hours of work...I bought pex original clamps and work great, I am thinking htat hte ones that come with this may be metric...so dont use them

Way cheaper than the local stores and works perfect. Knocked off a star because the included clamps are junk, just buy the good ones locally. But still an excellent value. I probably made 50 crimps on pex with this tool and not one leak!

This tool worked perfect and got my plumbing job done. The clamps that it came with are complete trash and I would not use them as the don't clamp very good, buy a good brand of clamps. I still gave this 5 star since the tool is what I bought this for and it functioned perfectly for less than a forth of what local stores had this tool selling for.

Works great with the Apollo rings from the local hardware store. No leaks! Way cheaper than the equivalent products sold in brick and mortar stores.

Excellent product and price! I just did some work on my Pex water pipes: It made it super easy! PS: IF you choose the clamps they are NOT good for pex tubing and pex fittings/elbows etc. They do not clamp on very well, BUT I see these as excellent for radiator hoses etc. Quality is good, just not for pex.

I had a small project that required a cinching tool. I have two hose water hydrants that are outside of my house. They were not installed on a bypass, every time I'd water the garden, it would run through the water softener. In total, I probably had about 15 clamps. The tool works, seems well made/sturdy, I just wish it had longer handles, for better leverage. I will try to find some lengths of pipe for extensions next time I need to use it.

I had lost my original pex tool just like it, I had paid 45$ at menards for the first, then one seemed every bit as good and was nearly half the price. Great deal!
