Garage door light fix for me! see update
Fixed broken garage door light.I have a great garage door opener, but the problem was the light stopped working, checked the bub not the problem, checked the socket not the problem, so I solved the problem with this light! When my garage door goes up the sensor sees the motion turning on the LED light. I adjusted my for 8 minutes. A lot of people said the 10 watt was too dim, but it worked in my white garage. Good product for this application but you need to buy the plug. I bought mine at a Menards for 1.29. Two small flaws for this product1) The wiring diagram does not use standard colors green= ground, white = neutral and black = hot, but they sent a diagram.2) The cord is not standard size so you have to use shrink tube or electrical tape on the cord to make it fit tight..If they fix these problem it could be a 5 star item. That is why it gets only 4 starsUpdate 3/18/2016, the light broke worked great for 10 months, so great in fact I am reordering the same product again. The light bulb no longer stays bright it comes on but only at about 1/10th of the light it had. This was a great fix for my garage so much so even when I replaced my garage door I kept the light. It is great that when I walk into my garge the light comes on and I do not have to turn on the garge lights or open the garge door. I originally paid about $10.00 for this light the new one I ordered today is $13.00. The way I look at it if it lasts 9-10 months that is still a good deal. About $1.00 per month. It may be that just the LED wore out but as I understand they are suppose to last 10-20 years.I will update this if the new product dies again, I wished it lasted longer because this is a great light! Staying at 4 stars for now.

Potential shock hazard
I am rating this on its wiring, not its performance. This unit has a potential shock hazard. My unit arrived yesterday and I opened it up to see what was inside.I found the ground wire almost completely detached. I gave it a light pull and it came off.I soldered it back on to the lug, but there could be other units out there with a faulty ground wire.I suggest that if you install this device be sure it's frame is grounded to the junction box.Update: I will review the installation & operation of this unit.Once I repaired the ground wire, I also had to rotate the sensor attachment, it was set to an angle that did not center on the direction of the lamp. I also wanted to mount the assembly with the sensor on the bottom because with it on top the sensor did not angle down far enough to be triggered. Just turning the assembly upside down left the sensitivity controls facing up and that would allow rain to get to them. It was a pain, but I managed to flip the sensor so it was on the bottom and the controls were facing downward. You need to be creative to mount it to your electric box, again I recommend fastening it to a metal box that is grounded, that will reduce the risk of a shock if your unit has a bad ground wire. I used a single outlet box with a blank cover and drilled holes to match the bracket that came with the light. I used the hole in the center of the bracket to run the wire into the electrical box with a grommet to keep the rain & bugs out. The wires are thin but using small wire nuts did the trick.Adjusting the sensitivity controls took a little time but I am satisfied with it turning on and off properly. Brightness was good enough for my yard. The only problem is that when it is on it does attract bugs, but all while lights will. One thing I wish it would do is be able to turn side to side, but the way the bracket is designed, the light can only swivel up and down. Using it next to a door, having the angle toward the door would be desirable. I was able to swivel the sensor toward the door but the light just aims strait out from the wall.Overall, if it was not for the bad wire and other minor things, this $15 led light could have easily gotten 4 stars. Safety is much more important that cost & features, leaving it with 1 star for an overall score.

Excellent, very bright and great value for price!
Bought two of these due to great price, they're straight forward to install just a bit fiddly as the wires are quite small, I'd suggest using electrical heat shrink tubing. The lights are super bright and the brightness, timer on/off and sensitivity be easily adjusted via a couple of small knobs underneath the unit. They come well packed and in a retail box with installation instructions etc. There seems to be a slight design fault, but not a deal breaker at this price, see cons.Pro's: For the price it's excellent value for the money, the light is a very bright day light white. Light is adjusted via a couple of knobs underneath timer, brightness and sensitivity. I'd recommend these and would buy them again, as I now know the minor the few problems that I came across whilst installing them. Overall, absolute great value for money, especially these being LED's!Cons: The light must be installed as pictured (upside down) if you want to adjust the lamp itself, the downside of doing this is the sensor points can only point in a upward direction. This seems a slight design fault, as all the manufacturer has to do is extend the length of the bracket holding the lamp by about an inch or so.Also the wiring is made for attaching to a plug and can be a bit of a problem wiring in with 14/2, I'd suggest using heat shrink sheathing to connect wires. If you're not sure how to wire this light please call an electrician or buy the plugin version - 10101001-DW .

Design Issues.
I bought 3 of these LE floodlights, 2X, 30W and a 10W model. The LED light appears to be well made, works well and gives a good light, however there are a few design issues and hence my rating of only 3 stars. First the connection led is very short, less than 12 inches, so if mounted outside you need to use a weatherproof junction box. My old halogen floodlights had junction boxes built into the case, why can't these so you could wire directly into them? Secondly the mounting frame has no depth which means the light cannot be angled downwards unless you mount it upside down. If you do this the cable entry and adjustment controls face upwards risking water ingress when it rains. Also the mounting holes in the frame are too large so you either have to fit washers under the screw heads or drill smaller holes in the frame.

Short fly lead spoils a good lamp
This lamp is small and when fitted gives a good light. However, it has two problems. a ure First the electrical fly lead is too short to go through a standard modern house brick - void - block + plasterboard wall. If it was six inches longer it would be fine. The lamp will only fit a garage or shed without the use of a waterproof external junction box. Secondly, the lamp cannot be adjusted to shine down from a vertical wall to light a doorway unless it is mounted upside down and this exposes the PIR adjusters to the full force of the elements. Time will tell if it will stand up to this exposure.

LE 10W Motion Sensor Light
A really good product with everything working just as it should but it is a shame that the movement sensor can only be swiveled in a clockwise direction when viewed from above. Note that there are other versions with the sensor below the light to suit your fixing situation. Don't expect the wall bracket to stay free of rust for long - I have purchased six lights from this supplier and they all started to show signs of rust after one week - I now paint them with Hammerite before installing. Also note that the bolts on which the lamp body swivels goes into the alloy body of the lamp so don't over tighten or you will strip the threads and resort to using Araldite in the hole.

Great VFM LED flood light.
These have been installed now for a few months and work without any problems. Not enough to illuminate a large area but great for the front of the house and smaller areas. Great VFM.

Good start - bad finish!
I found this easy to set up and had no complaints at all - until it rained! This would be a couple of months after installing. The light still came on but only very dimly and after a few more days, it failed completely.Due to illness, it was some time until I could take it down again but now, having done so, there is no visible sign of moisture ingress but though I have checked that current can get to the PIR, none appears to be getting past it!
