With different wheels and rings different forms can be created and works great with any normal pen or pencil. A design book guides to create patterns. The storage case is very useful and portable. Apirograph is an amazing toy and art tool for kids and adults alike. I had a simple version of it decades ago, and now using this set brought back great memories. It takes a bit of dexterity to draw flawless designs, but once you get used to it, the possibilities are endless. I plan to use the Spirograph in teaching fractions, geometry, and patterns to young Math students. Definitely recommend.

I loved Spirograph as a kid and I'm trying to reconnect with my creative side. This set is great and the box is large enough to use as a lap desk while watching TV.The provided pens are nice, but bleed a bit on the supplied paper; of course there is no shortage of other pens and pencils that can be used. The only real downside is that the putty doesn't come away cleanly from paper and requires some work to remove from the tracks. Would suggest weights or other attachment method if you're planning on making actual art.Super relaxing and a great alternative to mindless scrolling!

I just received my "Super Spirograph" set in pristine condition. What I mostly find strange is that it gets labeled by many sellers as a toy for children. This is professional grade drawing gear that should also be available to children, but it also has its place in the professional office.A lot of people no longer understand that high school prepares you for life employment and originally you would get your full education in high school. The fact that we use this in school, elementary or high school, doesn't mean it's a toy.In high school for classes in Graphics Communication, where you learn to draw like an architect, industrial designer, professional illustrator and more, to be able to learn, you need to have access to all of your professional tools, which includes this and a professional drafting set among other things.If you don't get your Super Spirograph, you can't make many of the professional illustrations and designs that you have to be able to make. Everyone living their own lives make some kind of a design at some point in life, so get your drawing table, drafting set, paint, pencils, and what not, and never leave out your Super Spirograph, because you need it.With practice, you are as good as your tools and this is a great tool.

Always like playing with a Spirograph as a kid. I was wondering if the quality would be as good as the old days. This product does not dissapoint. My Grandson loves it and it can make so many shapes. It is all in one container so that is very nice. The rings etc are held on with clay. This works but pins in a stick board would work a lot better.

This is a super fun way to spend an afternoon. Weather making random patterns or following along with the book to make a specific shape. Very relaxing and very satisfying when your project is done.
