The Ordinary Alpha Arbutin 2% + HA, Brightens Skin and Targets Dark Spots

This product was recommended for me to use on clean skin before moisturiser to correct the hyper-pigmentation on my face. I'm Indo-Caribbean and most of my hyper-pigmentation is around my mouth and cheeks. I've been using AM and PM for >1 month now and I can see a slight improvement. I believe in giving products a chance by using at least 2 courses and I've just started my 2nd 30ml bottle. Other benefits for me with this product is the cost (so cheap compared to most brands out there), simple design and makes my skin feel so good!

nice texture - using everyday for melasma before other creams , sunblock and make up - not noticed much difference but its not getting worse.

After 4 days of using this on a patch of hyperpigmentation on my top lip I can really notice the difference. During summer, no matter how much sun block I use I get a great tan but also start to resemble magnum PI on my top lip. I now apply this on the dark patch twice a day (morning and night) and after 4 days it’s totally fading! I’m so happy! And it’s such a great price!

The Ordinary is one of my favourite brands. This alpha Arbutin is easy to use, more of a gel like consistency, little sticky but only for a few seconds, it dries fast and well. I do only use it as a spot treatment fo my Melasma spots , but it can be used all over the face . I use it every day in conjunction with Buffet, Acid lactic and and moisturising factors cream and l feel it made my dark spots fade. Do not forget the daily SPF !Certainly recommend!

Partially effective on pigmentation, after daily use for two months, but good moisturizer.

Amazing product. I have had pretty bad acne for many years but after using this product every other day for about 5 weeks my face has almost no redness. Nearly all my acne scars have faded significantly so that I really have to focus on my face in the mirror to notice them. In addition, this contains Hyaluronic acid, so it's really hydrating too.I apply this after I chemically exfoliate as this product works best in an acidic environment. This makes my skin feel relieved as chemical exfoliation does dry my oily skin out somewhat.

It actually works, and what’s most amazing is how little the price is for such an effective product. I had uneven pigmentation on my face which has lightened so much that now it’s unnoticeable.

This stuff is the bomb and it really does help lighten pigmentation FAST. I’ve bought a few bottles now and I have one waiting for when my open one runs out. I’ve made the mistake of ditching it before and I could definitely tell. My skin was taking forever to clear minor marks and just looked dull. The HA in it also makes your skin feel sooo smooth and makes application a dream. Love it.
