I am not sure how best to describe these beans.Is this like Starbucks or Peet’s? No and to me that is a good think. The overly dark beans that taste strong of tobacco is not for me.Likewise, I would not describe this as amazing! It is not one f the best beans I have had.What I can say is it is a solid performer. While not the best I have had, I enjoyed the morning espressos made with these bean.

Just love Grumpy Mule coffee! This is the 3rd time I've purchased their coffee and the 2nd type of coffee I've tried. Started out with the espresso beans with the yellow label. Delicious, smooth and not over roasted. These Colombian beans also did not let me down. This coffee is wonderful. I use this coffee and grind a little finer than auto drip, creates a rich but balanced South American coffee.I would recommend this coffee to anyone who appreciates a great cup of coffee that is balanced and not over roasted. The packaging comes with a zip lock type closure which I love as well. Plus the packaging is lined with a foil like material, so the beans do not dry out and stay fresh for a long time. This is my new "go to" coffee. Thanks Grumpy Mule!

I drink a lot of coffee and have been lucky enough to travel all over the US trying coffees from different roasters. I've had coffees from Hart in Portland, Intelligentsia in Chicago, Vivace in Seattle...you get the picture. A little while back Grumpy Mule came across my radar and I wanted to try their coffees. Luckily, Amazon carried a few of their coffees and I ordered them. Hands down they are the best roaster in the US. This coffee delivered on what the label says. A smooth rich tasting coffee that derived a mouthful of caramel and citrus with a beautiful milk chocolate finish. Plus it's organic and rainforest alliance certified. I'm stocking up on this coffee.

Pretty bland

This is my second coffee experience with Grumpy Mule and again they hit it out of the park! A smooth cup of coffee with a perfect blend of caramel and chocolate notes . Organic and rainforest alliance certified, and did I mention FRESH! Time to order more! I actually found a Grumpy Mule Cafe at the library at CSUS in Sacramento! Now my favorite coffee on campus!

I like the taste however its a bit stronger than I prefer. But if you like a stronger coffee this is definitely for you! Good robust flavor.

Makes a great cup of coffee. The beans are roasted with the slightest hint of oil giving it a little bolder flavor that does very well hot or iced. The resealable bag is also a very nice touch.

This coffee is fantastic! It tastes great and is rainforest certified - better for the birds and their habitat. I am happy and would purchase again.
