I have a few spoon rests and was needing more. I thought these might be a little deeper. These I can see using for my jewelry when I take it off at night. However, for a spoon rest, I feel it is too big and the bottom is not smooth. It is OK, I might like it if cooking a bigger meal with bigger utensils, but for a regular spoon rest, too big.

I was thrilled when I spotted this great checkerboard spoon rest, the accent I am using in my kitchen. I couldn't resist and ordered it immediately. It shipped fast and I couldn't be happier with it. It is well-made and a good large size for bigger spoons too. Recommend.

This spoon rest feels like a combination of classy and cute. I like the aesthetic it adds, and it feels like good quality to me. Plenty big enough IMO for most typical spoons, spatulas, soup ladles, etc. And it is easy to clean! I love the wavy edges. That is a nice detail to the design. I had a difficult time choosing between the color choices, simply because I liked them all and don't feel like I could have gone wrong with any of them. I am very happy with this (I much prefer it over the traditional looking spoon-shaped spoon rest). I think it would also make a nice little gift for someone that likes to cook.
