The top literally snaps on nicely. I like the keyboard covers (it came with two; one covers the entire thing and the other doesn't cover the very top row). My only complaint is that the bottom cover didn't snap on. In fact, if I went to pick up my laptop, it would fall right off. I used "Extreme Mounting Tape" on the bottom cover in order to keep it in place. I don't recommend doing that, though... lol. It should be less expensive if the bottom isn't going to snap on. It could just be this one case, though. Also, I got the black case and the color is pretty much as it was advertised in the picture.
