I do wish Duracell would listen to consumers and provide better packaging for the cost of their products. It's not great at all and easy to see why people routinely receive damaged bulbs. At least a simple cardboard insert inside the very thin boxes would help to stop them from bouncing around or crushing so easily but Duracell don't respond. Thankfully, seller in this instance packaged mine well.I usually use the full sized UK light bulbs but recently tried out a new lamp compatible with these smaller golf ball variants. They're OK and this clear glass type certainly help to provide a cleaner whiter light too. If you only have lamps available that are compatible with these smaller lightbulbs and find the frosted type lacking then try the clear glass. They're just a little too underpowered for my personal preferences but that's completely subjective. They don't seem to do very well in multistage dimmer lamps though, even at the maximum setting. The same bulb was notably brighter in a different standard on/off switched lamp. Wherever possible, if you're used to full size UK bulbs try and get a demonstration at a store or by family/friends if replacing with lamps with these smaller bulbs first as there's quite a performance gap. (Not always an option or convenient for everyone (it wasn't for me and lesson learned the expensive way)).I would recommend these bulbs if they're suitable for any individual needs, preferences, etc. The quality is not an issue as they are pretty good. Awful factory packaging though leading to frequent damage on arrival!! 4/5.

The fact that 5 of the 10 bulbs received were broken. I initially decided to send them back but in the end put it down to a bad experience. Don’t suppose they were sent out broken. Or were they? Broken in transit? Who knows? In the end, for the sake of £10, not worth the bother. One of the few orders I didn’t make under PayPal. If had, they would have sorted it out for me. First time I’ve been disappointed in Amazon.

The are good if they work. Out of the first 5 we tried only 2 worked and no response from the seller when we emailed to ask what he could do about it.

used this product in a bed side lamp first one used failed after 2 weeks .Replaced with second bulb which lasted 2 days as my wife switched on during the night after she turned to walk away bulb exploded showering area with glass On inspection bulbs do not appear to be well manufactured . have decided not to use remainder of bulbs

Unfortunately we are going into a world of low energy light bulbs and a bit dimmer in brightness.

I bought these in August and installed 6 of them in my chandelier. It’s now November and every one of these bulbs has failed. Meanwhile, other manufacturer’s bulbs that were working back in August are still working now.

good VFM all in working order, well packed.

Avoid.Put the bulbs in the light fittings in the middle of December.I now only have 4 working out of the ten.
