Mostly good, just not for me.
Nice looking pen. The cap and body have a quality look to them. The golden brown marbling has a neat way of refracting the light. Light weight and well balanced when posted.Seller was pleasant and responsive. Most people will like this pen. Couple of deal breakers for me.This is a 0.5 EF, which is stated in the description. I was hoping that approx 0.5 meant that it could be finer, like a 0.4... nope, it's a 0.5. I'd say its about a EF-F. This is not a thin enough line for me.The hooded nib looks great, is buttery smooth, decently wet with no feedback but a little drag depending on what ink you use.Deal breaker for me was the cap has no locking mechanism. No twist cap or click to lock, just kept in place with friction. This made the cap hard to take off and put back on. I didn't feel confident there wouldn't be an ink spill in my pocket or bag.If it stayed on my desk, I'd eat the $10 and keep the pen but my pen travels with me everywhere.Worth buying to see if you like it.

Astonishingly nice pen for the price.
First Jinhao pen I bought. Was skeptical and hesitant. Delighted with purchase. Pen looks nice, writes beautifully. It's thin. If you want a heavy, thicker pen, get a Jinhao 159 (an homage to/knockoff of the Montblanc 149; but the Montblanc is $940 and the Jinhao is about $12--so assuming the Montblanc is indeed better, is it 88x better? Not for me, because I'd drop it or lose it, and can think of other things I'd rather do with $940, and the Jinhao writes superbly--smooth flow--for my purposes. This thinner Jinhao 200 is good if you like a more slender writing instrument. I love the brown, rust and gold tones. The black on mine seems . . . to me out of place. But overall a superb value that performs so much better than I expected. Pic shows the Jinhao 200 between two black Jinhao 159s, and next to a common Pilot pen for size comparisions.

Nice Pen
A nicely made pen from Jinhao that is one of my favorites. Most important, it has good ink flow and the nib writes smoothly. It looks nice and feels good in the hand. Unlike many of my other Jinhao pens, this one is a lightweight. It is suitable for beginners and even old pros will appreciate it.

Fantastic fountain pen for every day use.
I enjoy writing with this pen. It has made my work a bit more enjoyable, even though I write like an over caffiinated three year old. No offense three year olds. Very nice for the money. Well worth it.

Good pen
Cheap and tacky gift box aside, the pen is easy to fill with ink and writes wonderfully.
