Hot ice cream!
This book has loads of good photos which made me drool and I had serious difficulty in deciding which recipe to try first.The recipes are very easy to follow and thankfully involve few ingredients which are all easy to get in any decent supermarket.The one critique I have is that the print size could be bigger.I find this book is very good regarding the variety of recipes. I have been inspired to adapt some of them eg, to the Mango and Lime recipe I have added a half-teaspoon of flaked chilli and it gives an unusual bite to the ice cream!Hot ice cream!Enjoy.

Fabulous and inspiring recipe book
I ordered this as a novice to ice cream making and having just bought my first machine. I needed a collection of inspirational recipes and clear instructions to get me going, and I am absolutely delighted - this does the job perfectly. I have only tried one recipe so far, but it was very successful, and easy to follow. There is a bewildering choice of books on the subject, but I am convinced I made the right choice, and couldn't be happier. I also like the variety of recipes, plenty of alternatives including the healthier options such as sorbets, as well as great ideas for toppings, like praline, and even biscuits and brandy snaps to go with your ice cream.

Great book
Great book. Excellent pictures and straightforward recipes. Only criticism is that the print is on the small side. Don't let that put you off, though

Amazing ice cream machine recipes
I love this recipe book. It is easy to follow the step by step instructions, displaying photos of each ice cream recipe. The front of the book also gives you the history of ice cream and techniques to give you the perfect consistency. Great selection of flavoured ices.I recommend this book.

Clear instructions
Really good bpok. Easy to follow recipes from simple to more complex. Good pictures. Very pleased with it.

Honey, they shrunk the book!
This small book is absolutely packed with good information: better advice about using machines than came with my machine; recipes for accompaniments like tuile biscuits and various sauces, and splendid recipes for ice creams and sorbets from the most basic to the really exotic! Some with an egg custard base, some simpler. And, best of all, with PROPER METRIC MEASUREMENTS......not like the American book that I ended up chucking out in a rage.But why oh why is it so small, with print to match?? Having read other reviews, I had dug out the magnifying glass in preparation.I will have to copy out the recipes into a notebook..what a pain.And having got the book so cheaply ( probably got rid of by another reader who didn't have a large magnifying glass) , I will put up with it!So a book which deserves five stars ends up with 3 because someone decided to shrink it.So brace yourself if you are thinking of buying this book...it is a positive mine of excellent information and wonderful recipes......but unless you have truly excellent sight, it needs a bit of work and a LARGE magnifying glass.Five stars for content, zero for accessibility...hence the three!

This is excellent and much better than I thought it would be
I bought an ice cream maker and having read all the reviews decided I also needed a book to give more ideas. This is excellent and much better than I thought it would be. It starts the history of ice cream making then goes through all the types of ice cream and reasons for doing stuff.It is aimed at the cheaper freezer bowl with paddle as well as the more expensive integrated ice cream makers.Don't be put off if you only got the cheaper ice cream maker, this is the right book to get

Fab book
Brilliant book, lots of different recipies for ice-cream, sorbets etc. Also what to put with ice cream like chocolate decorations and biscuits and how to do them
