Spectacular Ketogenic Diet Cookbook!
Call me mainstream but my new year's resolution for 2017 is to eat healthier and get fitter. My overall goal is to get a flatter figure but given the fact that I'm pretty overweight, I'm setting easy goals so that I don't get discouraged. Anyway, I do follow a bunch of fitness gurus on YouTube and one of them suggested Keto diet and recommended this gem.Over the last four days, I've stuck to the Keto recipes that I found in this cookbook. The recipes are fairly simple, straight to the point and delicious. I made Beef Zucchini Stew for my folks the other day and they absolutely loved it. Although, as per the recipe, the cauliflower florets in the chicken steak recipe needs to be cooked for 5 minutes but, that really depends on the size of the florets so start checking after 3 minutes to make sure they're not overcooked.Emma, your recipes are spectacular and I cannot thank you enough for this hell of an awesome cookbook.

Excellent Ketogenic Diet Recipes
I had tried a Keto Diet once before and had to quit because I just felt too limited with what I could eat. I pretty much got sick of eating the same basic things every single day for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. That being said, I'm not a salad person, so the Keto Diet still appealed to me because I can eat meat. I grabbed author Emma Katie's new recipe book when I was ready to try again and it has been an entirely different experience. I love the variety and quality of the recipes here, that make it so easy to stay on this diet. I cooked so many different kinds of chicken, steak, snacks, and even some slow cooker recipes. Definitely recommend this one if you want to use the Keto Diet to lose weight.

I thought it would have the image of each recipe so you can an idea of what u about to make, other than that it came fast.

I was surprised, these recipes were for like real people. Some recipe books (to me) have some recipes that no one would eat, or have ingredients that you can’t get in your area of the world, or like your eating in a super fancy restaurant. So I’d say five stars!!

A great tool to live a Keto lifestyle! I started a Keto lifestyle about 54 days ago. I lost 31.5 lbs in 47 days, and now I'm maintaining not gaining or loosing more than 2 lbs for 30 days. This allows my body to reset my weight set point. Then I will start another 40 days of the loosing cycle. I feel so much better physically and in every way! I truly believe that God led me to this way of life to Bless my health and life in every way. Thank you Lord Jesus for answering our prayers ❤️

Worth about what I paid, which was 99 cents
There are some interesting recipes in this book, but it is the most unedited book I have ever seen. Example: one recipe that called for butter in the list of ingredients used oil in the instructions. Number of servings might say 6 servings at the beginning, but provide instructions for only 4 servings. If you buy this book, read every recipe you're interest in completely before attempting it, and avoid surprises when the ingredients listed at the top don't correspond to the ingredients used in the instructions.

Fantastic recipes. Already made a couple and they are delicious. However, I only gave it 4 stars because there is no nutritional information provided. If you are doing a cookbook for people counting carbs etc, I don't understand why you would not provide this information!

Inaccurate time labels
Many recipes that are filling. However, for example the Mini Frittatas time estimate at top is beyond ridiculous. (Prep:5 min and cook time 30mins). It takes 30mins alone just for them to bake. Not even pre cooking sausage or peppers. For me, im making what should have been 30min and cool then go to bed breakfest stretched into an hour. Really upset with that one

Utilitarian lay out. No illustrations, very American menus. No keto diet advice. .

Some of the recipes are good, though
I AM NOT SURE IF THE BOOK WAS EDITED. There are ingredients in the ingredients list but you do not find it in the directions. For example, p.49 - Mexican Chicken Steak with Cauliflower - 1 tbsp. tomato puree. Page 70 - Roasted chicken tights - maybe chicken thighs???? Page 127 - chicken tights comes up again. The chunky avocado turkey burger has an ingredient listed as 1 lb. chicken but in the directions it says turkey. I can go on but I already have made my point. Some of the recipes are good, though.

365 days of ketogenic diet.
Some good ideas but had some inaccuracy's that made me think that perhaps this books recipes hadn't been tested, edited or had been over looked. For example a recipe for Mexican coffee ice cream says to add the maple syrup but no where in the list of ingredients does it say anything about maple syrup.

This was a new adventure for me. As a Nutritional Manager much of what I had read about the Keto diet went against everything I had been taught. But this book put it clearly on the edge of correctness. I do believe that anyone undertaking this diet do so with your Doctor's knowledge.
