These are wheat noodles. They have a nice taste but they are alot firmer then egg noodles in my opinion and taste abit different.They are super easy to prepare simply just follow the instructions and cook them in boiling water. They have a firm texture and sort of a paster taste slightly more salty. Its hard to describe but these work really well with homemade ramen.You get 3 individual bunches. I have also boiled these and added to stirfys and they taste great that way too. I have even just used them like normal pasta and works that way too.They loose one star only because I prefer egg noodles but for cooking at home these are the best your gonna find from a packet, I also find the soup does not cling to these noodles very well. Supermarkets either don't stock them or have the \"instant\" fried variety that are high in fat and usually come with a sachet of flavouring that I'm not interested in using.These noodles on the other hand are great! Very minimal ingredients and a nice bounce to them. They cook quickly and even go well in other dishes than ramen, such as stir fries with teriyaki sauce. My little one also likes ramen so I got this for him as it says organic and I can make soup without additives.Compared to real ramen noodles you can buy in Japan, this is still too thick, not good for ramen. The flavour is fine but the texture is not right and they don't go with ramen soup.
