GOLME PRO Pop Up Soccer Goal - Two Portable Soccer Nets with Carry Bag - Sizes 2.5’, 4’ and 6’

We originally went with the 6 foot size because my daughter is a tall 8, and I wanted to be able to use this for a long time. However, when the giant box arrived, I realized this size wasn't going to work for our small city sized lot or our small SUV. The nets fold down, but the 6 foot one folds to 4 foot at the widest point. I returned the large one for the 4 foot one and am much happier. The kids are outside playing soccer now!

Top line: Fun anywhere, great quality, retain shape and stake well.Good: These goals (4 ft. size) completely surpassed my moderate expectations based on the low low price. Quality seems very high with no tears or stress marks after limited use. When these goals are staked, they are not going anywhere--very impressive for something this small. I have sent some serious missile volleys into these nets, and the staked goal has held like a champ. Storage is easy and they'll fit about anywhere you can hang something on the wall (perfect for garage). In the bag they are about 1.5 times the size and shape of a tennis racket.Bad: I'm always a little worried when I collapse these goals up to put away that they are going to snap, but they never do. Let's just say that the mechanism doesn't inspire a lot of confidence--it seems a little stiff. Also, the plastic stakes, while functional, are a little blunt and tough to use on hard ground; probably a safety feature, but doesn't help set up.Other: I purchased the 4 ft. versions, which are nice for small scale practice with my 4-year old. I would NOT recommend smaller than that (i.e., the 2.5 ft. versions) for anyone that's actually trying to have fun with these. IMO, they would be just too small.

I bought these as a Christmas gift for my kids last year. The first few months of use were great. The goals were easy to fold, move around the yard, and stake in...and the size was perfect. After a few months, a soccer ball started a small hole in one of the nets. Since we weren’t gonna go buy new ones at that point, I encouraged my kids to keep playing on them. The first little hole turned into a much larger hole, and holes started forming in the other net as well. Keep in mind, these goals have ONLY been used by size 3/4 soccer balls, kicked by children. Now, less than one year of use later (since they were gifted on Christmas), they’re pretty much useless, and I have two disappointed kids. Fortunately, the soccer rebounder (Of a different brand) that we gifted at the same time last year is still going strong with no signs of wear at all. Unfortunately, Christmas purchases for this year are already done, and I can’t add more soccer goals to the list.

Product arrived in great shape, and has held up to a good bit of playing in the backyard with my two young kids. Easy to set up and they stay in the ground reasonably well; I found them a little difficult to fold up and put away at first, but once you get the hang of it set up and take down are very quick. They fold flat for easy storage. Overall, a very good product for the price point.Just a word to note - we purchased the 4 foot goals primarily for our 5.5 year old to play/practice with. I thought that would be a good size for him, but they're really small (especially once you take the height into account, they're quite short) and I wish I'd gotten the 6 foot goals. We can get away with it for this summer, but I think these won't last more than a year for us. I know what you're thinking: "hey, dumb***, get out a measuring tape before you buy," and I absolutely agree - it's totally and completely my own fault, I don't mean to imply anything otherwise. Just wanted to include that in case anyone is waffling between two sizes - get the bigger one, or at least get a good visual of the actual dimensions before you make the decision.

I bought a set of these about 9 months ago. Both of them broke in the middle of the flexible bar about 5 months with minimal usage. I only use them for tap in goals for my U12 team. I always store them in the bag and never use in rain. I have been coaching for 8 years now and take very good care of my equipment as I pay for them myself.I had to take pictures of the broken goals and Golme sent me another set...no cost. Last week another one of mine replacement goals broke in the same place. Golme will only send me one replacement or 1/2 refund for broken one. I just wanted to send them back for a full refund. I am not the only one that this has happened too. In my opinion Golme should try and find out why they are breaking and resolve the problem to provide a reliable product. I do not recommend an unreliable product and a company that won't put the time into correcting the problem.I will never use their products again.

My daughter just started playing soccer and with practice only being once a week, how is she supposed to be the next Mia Hamm or Alex Morgan!?!? (No pressure of course!) :)With so many options on pop-up goals out there I decided on the Golme based on reviews. I purchased the 4', two piece set. You need two goals for a proper game and if you only want one, still purchase two as the price is cheaper and then you have a backup! So far they have done well the two weeks we have used them. They break down very easy and pop-up even easier. I normally don't use the stakes to secure the goal but on one very windy day I had to as the goal was blowing all over the place! The stakes went in easily solving the problem of a moving goal.My one complaint so far is the bag. It don't think it will last super long and the zipper could open a bit more allowing easier storage.

Open and close easily. Flattens nicely. Stakes are a nice addition for keeping it in one place. Works great for kids as well as improving accuracy.

Bought it for my son who is 7 - he loves it. Very easy to open and looks very well made. To close is a bit of a learning curve, but after looking online, it was very easy to close (push bottoms together and twist and it folds up).

High quality product. Really well made. Wasn’t sure if they would be flimsy at all, but these will last and the carrying case is great, too. Takes a bit to figure out how to close them up after opening them for the first time (it helps to pay extra attention when you open them!)

Easy to set up and fols. Pegs are great and has kept nets from blowing away during very windy rainfall

Durable goals for an 8 year old. Good size. He plays with adult family members and they hold up fine. Good purchase : )
