I will never go back to regular bleach after using this, and I wish I had known about this product a long time ago! I would have avoided a lot of damaged hair and hours of bleaching only to get an ugly orange color and straw like hair. I have been lightening my hair to put vivid colors in since I was 16. I'm 28 now, so that's 12 years of bleaching my own hair with a variety of different products.Using this lightening cream with their sensitive scalp 20 developer- a literal game changer. I've been bleaching my roots only once or twice a year to avoid bleaching the same hair more than once and to give my hair a good break in between, even tho this means my hair is often way grown out at the top and it can create bands of differently lightened hair. Because of this I've used a full coverage vivid color (like dark purple or blue) despite having always wanted to be able to go pastel. Pastel color wasn't worth the damage to my hair to get it that light and even when I've tried in the past it was always too bronzey to look good with a pastel dye, even after toning it. Well I found this product looking for a good product to bleach my roots with as it was that time again and I'm being even more careful with my hair as I'm trying to grow it out long. I found this and read the good reviews and decided to give it a try. I used the cream and the 20 sensitive scalp devloper 1 to 1 mix to lighten my roots. It lighted it SO fast I was amazed. And oh my gosh when I rinsed it out not only did my roots not feel damaged but it was the prettiest lightest silvery blonde I've ever seen on myself, something I wasn't able to achieve even with multiple bleach sessions and toning before, and this was with no toning! I loved it so much I decided to take the leap and lighten the rest of my head the next day. I have a lot of hair, so I used an entire bottle of the cream between doing my roots and then the rest of my hair, but its definitely worth it and I still have about half the developer left. After doing the rest of my hair I used purple depositing shampoo and a purple toning conditioner, to give it that purple hue and some light purple color. I love it!! I've received so many compliments on it, and my hair doesn't feel damaged even after using it on my already bleached hair. In 18 years of bleaching my hair this is definitely the best product I've used. I've tried all sorts of different combos of boxed bleach kits and diy lightener/developer combos and I'm definitely gonna stick with this one.For reference, my natural hair is medium brown and I mix this in equal parts with the 20vol developer and it takes my hair to a light blonde in about 15 minutes. I always dye on top of it immediately afterwards, so no toner or anything since I want the yellow-y base for my color, but it would definitely be easy to tone to platinum if I needed to.I combo this with Manic Panic bright dyes and my hair is always soft and manageable (at least as much as my natural hair is), so it isn't nearly as damaging as some of the other products I've used in the past.Highly recommend if you're pre-lightening your hair for a vivid color.

No itching, burning, nothing. This product was heaven to use, along with the 20 volume developer it recommended. I will never dread bleaching my hair again. I love this stuff. It was very easy on my hair also. I am so pleased!.

Best Cream Lightner for pale clear blondes. 8 levels of lift and conditioning. I use with 20 Volume for sensitive scalp and mix equal parts . I do my regrowth only because my ends are already pale blonde. I left on for a hour and got the results I wanted as it matched my ends perfectly. I’m a level 7 and now white blonde with no brass. LOVE LOVE LOVE

First time using bleach myself. Used this on my extensions first to test it. Lighted them up really good. Then I colored them a light brown. Purchased more to use on my hair now.

This is stronger than regular powder bleach if used right.

My husband wanted to go from his natural Asian-type black hair to a deep blue color. Never bleached hair at home before and am thrilled with how good it turned out.Purchased this cream lightener along with the Ion developer 20 vol., Wella Toner T18, Adore semi-permanent color in Royal Navy, and a hair dye supplies kit.The first day we used this product at a 1:1 mix. I applied it first through the shaft of his hair avoiding the roots. After ten minutes, went back in and got the roots. Wrapped tin foil around his head to keep it warm. Total processing time was about 60 minutes. We got from a level 1-2 to an 8-9 in that one process! I was shocked at how well it lightened his hair.The result was a level 8 with lots of yellow. There were a few spots that were orange but that was probably my application errors.Since he wanted a dark blue we didn’t need to lift the hair any lighter. If we were going for a pastel or bright color we probably would have done one more bleach process to get a level 10.To cancel out all the yellow and orange we used a Wella T18. The result was a beautiful ash blonde- the ideal canvas for a blue hair dye.The lightener has a fairly pleasant smell compared to other bleaches. The cream formula was easy to mix and apply. We used the same developer for toning, too. He didn’t feel itching or burning on the scalp at all. The hair is shiny and in great condition, not dry or breaking, but healthy and soft.For an at home diy experiment we are thrilled with how it worked out! Excited to try more color changes and we only used about half of these products for his short hair.

I love this product. It is creamy with no mess of other products. Simply squeeze desired amount from tube into your bowl and use with their developed in a 1:1 or 1:2 amount. It goes on well and doesn't drip. I always have issues of not getting past the gold in my hair but this product cuts through it and I end up with a great platinum color. My hair integrity remains without dryness or damage. If you are looking for a great lightener that does what it says then look no further.
