Honestly, I was worried that the instructions said I had to press up and down in order for the ink to run down because I was like, "These markers are already thin, isn't it gonna bent the tip?!" But it didn't! The tips are actually made by some sort of sturdy plastic that has a star-like opening for the ink to flow out.It took me a good minute or so to get ink out of each pen. That being said, the plastic, thank goodness, didn't bend at all!And once the ink is out and you lay them down for a bit then start writing with them, they are so great!!The colors are very, very nice, and they really pop. I love the fact that even if I'm drawing over another color of them (dry of course) it will still draw over.Definitely a quality item and I absolutely love how thin these write, it was exactly what I was looking for to write on my new whiteboard calendar. I even write some signs and drew things on chalkboard and they are like a dream on it of course! But whiteboard or chalk, they write great!

Loved these, but does not work on my homemade chalk boards.

I followed all the directions to activate the markers and they are very streaky! I even let the ink bleed for 2 minutes because 1 minute was not enough and I also shook them for 1 minute and only 3/8 of the markers worked decently (but the color was burly showing). All the other ones seem extremely dried out. I do NOT recommend these chalk markers to anyone who actually wants to use them on a non porous chalkboard.

I found these chalk markers very handy and incredibly interesting! The plastic tips were confusing at first and it took me a while to get the "ink" inside, out into the tip. But they write on glass very smoothly and fhe colors are vivid! Great buy! Used them for my DIY'd calendar i made two years ago, works fantastically :)

Really fine tips! Perfect for the small food labels I used for a cheese plate. My complaint is with the packaging... There were multiple black hairs lodged inside and stuck on the outside of the product packaging. GROSS! The labels used on the pens were not placed properly with some not even wrapped around the marker correctly. Normally I wouldn’t mind this but because the glue on the label had dried I can’t place them down and they stick out and are annoying while trying to use the pens. Pens were also just thrown inside the packing so sloppy that the box wasn’t even closed. Kind of sad that the packaging and the quality of product are not on the same level.

Most of these markers don't work. Out of the pack of 8, only two of them work decently well. One marker never worked at all. the other 6 markers worked when I first tried them, then stopped working the next time I tried them. I plan to return these. Also, the lid on the red marker doesn't close tightly, so it constantly falls off.*Also* make sure you note how thin these marker tips are. These would be too small for large display boards, but they could work for smaller boards where you have to include a lot of detailed. I would not recommend these chalk markers.

These work well and the company takes care of you! Even before I received the notice that they'd shipped, the company wrote with instructions of how to use them the first time. The colors are brilliant and the marker tips are sturdy and great quality.

Comes right off my lightly textured chalkboard calendar. Just a bit of water of a paper towel or a baby wipe does the trick. Love the colors and how finely it writes. Takes about 15-20 seconds to get each marker going (shaking and pressing down tip). Faster with each use. Would definitely buy this brand again.
