Worst tires I have ever had
I bought these tires on Amazon last Spring and regularly rotated them. They wore very oddly like the shape of an octagon creating flat spots on the tires. One of the rear tires developed a really bad wear spot and the metal wire is already showing. All this with only 35,000 miles on the tires! I'm currently trying to get them replaced with their tread warranty which has proven to be very difficult. I would stay far away from this entire line of tires. I ran them on a 2011 Jetta SEL. Previous tires wore just fine and even. Continental brand. The shop I bring the car to said the tire had bad chopping and cupping and refused to even rotate them on my trip in with only 25,000 miles on them. I blame this for the bad rear tire and now, since I cannot wait for the warranty stuff to go through, am forced to buy tires from another manufacturer thanks to this situation. All I can say after this experience is do your research on tires. Warranty issues are best handled with local shops and proof of rotation schedule with them.

Better Than Michelin Man
I've been sold on Michelin tires all my life and decided to try these out and to my surprise they are better than the Michelin Pilot A/S tires I had on my 2009 C 300 Mercedes. The ride is smoother and the handling is better. I'm a fan.

The asymettrical tread design looks good. Installed on a CLK430 last year
The asymettrical tread design looks good. Installed on a CLK430 last year.I only really got about 10,000 - 15,000 miles out of them at MOST, both rear tires blew in the exact same fashion, about 8 months apart from each other. Read the reviews on other tire related websites before purchasing this.As soon as the second one blew, I replaced both the failed one and the "good" one with another brand of tire.

Great tire.
I got this tire to replace worn out summer tires on a used vehicle I purchased. These are by far the best tires, for the price, I've had on the vehicle; they are quiet and grip very well in dry and wet conditions.

Reviewing Eagle Gt's
I purchased a set of four GoodYear GT tires for my 2010 Mitsubishi Lancer GTS it is an all season 18 inch. tire with a high performance grade A rating. When I first bought them they looked like a solid tire I purchase the tires about six months ago and I've been driving them for 20,000 miles out of the 60,000 mile warranty line and they still look pretty solid to me, I usually drive my car pretty hard and they seem to be holding up pretty well. They still have that chunky look like when I first got them . I bought my tires around fall/winter and I noticed the improvement on the handling experience as well as a bit of road noise. When I started Driving in the rain I noticed that in wet, the asymmetric tread design system that the Eagle Gt tire has, its good for light rain conditions in slow speed, but since the weight of my car is much lesser than other standard vehicles I noticed that in fast speeds and heavy rain conditions my vehicle starts to hydroplane on puddles and or where there is a significant amount of water overflow accumulation, perhaps on heavier vehicles this type of abnormality would not appear, also when driving on wet conditions I did noticed that the grip is OK for the type of tire, but it should handle better when on steering specially on sharp turns and on higher speeds, like highway speed.Driving on the snow wasn't so difficult, my car is front wheel drive and is fairly easy to drive with the Eagle Gt's. The tires have a tread-lock technology microgrooves that helps provide biting edges for enhanced traction and lock together for confident grip in turns it also has dual circumferential grooves help evacuate water and snow for enhanced traction. Although I did notice a little better grip after putting a bag of salt in the trunk for better weight distribution and traction. I also noticed that depending on the outside temperature in the winter my tires seemed to respond differently for examplewhen the temp. was about 10 degrees Fahrenheit I would notice that my tires were hard for the first 15 min of driving and I noticed that my car was very slippery, but after the 15 minutes of regular drivingthe tires seemed to warm up and deliver full traction assistance. When I first bought my car it came with Dunlop signature tires. It is and all-season tire that apparently meets the every day standard driving style but with limited capabilities such as handling and ride quality. The Dunlop signature tires also lack on style, aggressiveness and poor wheel manufacturing quality. The tires did not provide the resistance and durability on the road that I needed as well as they did not provide the strength and security that they offered. I also had problems with the softness of the tires with a lots of problems with pinching nails. They also did not provide the rim protection against curb damage.Over all, the Goodyear Gt's have an outstanding job wit durability, they offer and outstanding sixty thousand mile warranty that most tires wont do at a very affordable price. It is a tire that withstand hard road conditions and deliver good quality while driving. Goodyear Eagle GT Radial Tire - 225/45R17 94Z I recommend it to the person who have small sporty sedans mostly rear wheel drive and that they are looking for high performance sharp cornering tire that grips like a badger. It is a tire that provides security in all conditions and fits any standard sport sedan without loosing ride comfort as well as style.

It's not the tires, It's the driver..... (Guitar Player)
I didn't buy these tires from Amazon but I run a set of these tires on my 525HP F100. I have a background in the tire industry and I know for a fact that the issues that "Guitar Player" was having, has nothing to do with the tires. Tire cupping comes from bad shocks or struts. The other tire wear issues are from other worn out parts and front end alignment issues as well as tire pressure. These tires are great and perform well in wet and dry conditions, as long as you have the right tire pressure. If a tire has a max pressure of 44psi @ 1550lbs, and your vehicle only weighs 3200lbs, don't set your tire pressure at 44psi. Also, tire pressure can fluctuate upwards of 10psi due to change of the environments temperature. I highly doubt that Goodyear puts millions of dollars a year into R&D just so the tread on a tire will wear funny.
